The conspiracy against common sense in which Genesis and Liberal democracy is grounded is equally a  conspiracy against truth, a conspiriacy against the many whose daily work made and makes civilisation possible, a conspiracy against justice, and, starting with the book of Genesis, it was given divine authority. Some sixteen hundred years later, a Roman Emperor thrust it down the pagan throats of Europe and the rest as we say, is history! History therefore will be one thing if as per Aristotle, A=A and black is black and nothing else, and something quite else if black is white as in Yin and Yang.

 

Some twenty years ago Hamish saw something whose significance had not been noticed before—he noticed that the equivalence of energy  and mass that made 20th century science and our hi-tech society possible was directly at odds with almost everything we in the West have increasingly believed during the last four to five hundred years—'black is white’. He noticed that the equivalence of energy and mass was a quantitative variation on the qualitative equivalence of yin and yang, and that Einstein’s breakthrough therefore forged a solid link both with Marx's historical materialism and with Eastern ways of thinking and doing. Common sense it seems was after all, common to East and West alike—Genesis alone rejects it, and liberal democracy tolerates, but second-rates it. For liberal democracy mind-body dualism and the anti-dialectic is altogether preferred, and because this is demonstrable in the annals of European history, mainstream scholarship is demonstrably at the forefront of the conspiracy against common sense.
